A DRIVER reportedly left the scene of a crash which partially blocked a road in Weymouth.

A two-vehicle collision occurred at around 3.55pm on Sunday, November 22 on Spa Road, near to the junction for Kings Road.

Dorset Police say one of the drivers of the vehicles initially stopped but then left the scene.

No one was injured in the collision but an investigation into the incident has been launched by police officers.

Police officers carried out initial investigations by speaking to people in the area, before they left the scene.

A spokeswoman for Dorset Police said: “It is reported that at around 3.55pm on Sunday, November 22 a two-vehicle collision occurred on Spa Road near to the junction with Kings Road in Weymouth.

“It is reported that the driver of one of the vehicles initially stopped, before leaving the scene.

“Officers attended the scene. No one was injured during the incident.

“Enquiries are underway into the collision. No arrests have been made.”

The collision caused delays in the area, with some drivers diverting around Spa Road to bypass the incident.
