THE Christmas lights went on in Taunton this week - so we thought we'd have a look back at some pictures of lights in the past.
This collection of snaps from our archive is from 2002, we believe.
Some of the scenes look much the same as they do now, such as Market House and the town centre, but others do look different.
An amazing scene in St James Street, opposite the County Ground, which is colourful and busy with enormous lights!
