A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
CIARAN SINNOTT, 25, of Winston Road, Barry, was banned from driving for 14 months after he admitted drug-driving with cannabis in his blood.
He was also ordered to pay £269 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

JASON JACK EVANS, 21, Y Rhodfa, Barry, was conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay £257 in compensation, a surcharge and costs after he pleaded guilty to the criminal damage of a £300 mobile phone.
STUART JOHN SUTTON, 44, of Barry Road, Barry, was banned from driving for seven months for driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
He was ordered to pay £299 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
KANE CYRIL GRINDLEY, 33, of Phyllis Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving with no insurance.
His licence was endorsed with six points.
MARTIN BRIAN BROCK, 45, of Tynewydd Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £100 in a fine and a surcharge for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph zone.
His licence was endorsed with three points.
ANTHONY FROST, 43, of Cei Dafydd, Barry, was ordered to pay £100 in a fine and a surcharge for speeding at 50mph in a 40mph zone.
His licence was endorsed with three points.
WAYNE MARTIN KEOGHAN, 44, of Heritage Drive, Barry, was ordered to pay £199 in fines, costs and a surcharge after he pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis and being in breach of a conditional discharge.
CURTIS GLEN HOGAN, 37, of Evelyn Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £219 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone.
His driving record was endorsed with three points.
