TOWN centres in the Vale of Glamorgan will have new coronavirus safety signage installed in the form of bollard covers, as of next week.
The new covers will remind shoppers to maintain a 2-metre distance, wear a face covering, to follow arrows and queue markers and to keep their hands clean.
The one-way systems previously put in place will also be removed, now encouraging shoppers to be mindful when out and about.

Vale council cabinet member for regeneration and education and deputy leader, Cllr Lis Burnett, said: “The previous pedestrian traffic measures were originally put in place to conform with Welsh Government guidance on town centres.
“As we move forward, and town centres adapt to the challenges of trading whilst living with Covid-19, the reminders will help residents to keep themselves and others safe.”
