IF you were dreaming of enjoying a white Christmas in Somerset, think again.
According to the Met Office we're unlikely to get any of the white stuff around here.
Instead it looks as though we're in for some "typical early winter weather" at the start of December.
Forecasters reckon we could have to endure "periods of persistent rain and showery interludes" with winds and weather systems set to arrive from the Atlantic.
Expect some frost and fog patches during any settled spells.
But there is hope of some better weather around Christmas.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Conditions in the South "est could turn more settled through the month."
