AT a time when money is at its most needed, can someone tell me why we need pavements eight feet wide, as at Bathpool?
Why millions of pounds have been spent on the M25 junction widening the road which has a bottleneck at Creech Castle anyway?
Both scenes do nothing to help traffic flow.
The state of the roads around Taunton is awful, yet money can be found for unnecessary stupid projects.
What we need is better public transport and get traffic off the roads
