A CAR was completely 'engulfed' in flames near Frome during the early hours of this morning (December 14).
The fire, on Smithwick's Lane, Marston Bigot, at 4.50am, was thought to be deliberate.
The car was 100 per cent damaged by the blaze.
A spokesperson from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "Firefighters and one fire engine from Frome attended the incident.
"On arrival the car was fully engulfed in fire, Fire crews got to work with one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampened down the remaining part of the vehicle.
"The vehicle was 100 per cent damaged and the incident was then passed onto the police as it is believed to have been deliberate."
