FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a chimney fire in Shepton Mallet.
Crews from Shepton Mallet were called to Downside at 7.23pm last night (December 31) to reports of a chimney fire in a pub.
On arrival crews confirmed the chimney was alight and requested a fire engine to assist. This was sent from Shepton Mallet.
Crews extinguished the fire using chimney gear.
