A MINI Asian supermarket is set to open in Taunton after lockdown.
The business will be located in a currently vacant property at 32 Kingston Road.
More than 20 people showed an interest in the premises when thit was on the market before Christmas.
It was advertised for an annual rent of £3,000 by Carter Jonas.
Stephen Richards, associate partner at Carter Jonas, said: "We had strong interest as soon as we put the property on the market and had several interested parties and bids, showing the demand for small retail units.
"The shop had a prominent position at the junction of Kingston Road and Greenway Road and had high visibility for advertising which attracted the majority of the potential tenants.
"We are pleased to have been able to agree a quick letting on behalf of our client."
