A CYCLIST sadly died after a crash in a village near Taunton this afternoon (January 14).
Police are appealing for witnesses who saw the serious collision on Kingston Road, Kingston St Mary near the Swan Inn at 12.40pm.
The collision involved a cyclist and a Range Rover.

The cyclist was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Their next of kin has been informed, and are being supported by specially trained officers.
"We’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident," said an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson.
"We’d also like to appeal for anyone who may have dash cam footage from the area around the time the collision occurred.
