A FURTHER six Covid related deaths in Somerset have been recorded in a single day in the latest Government figures.
Three people who had tested positive for the virus in Somerset West and Taunton in the past 28 days passed away.
And two people died in Sedgemoor and one in Mendip.
The cause of death in each case has not been made public.
There were no coronavirus linked deaths in South Somerset over the same day.
Overall, 379 people have died in Somerset within 28 days of a positive Covid test since the start of the pandemic.
The figures is made up of 112 deaths in South Somerset; 79 in SWT; 96 in Sedgemoor; and 92 in Mendip.
