A FOOTPATH in From will be closed for more than a month for essential railway bridge repairs.
Network Rail are completing essential works on Pilly Vale railway bridge, at the end of Willow Vale, by Rodden Meadow and Millennium Green.
The work will take place from today (January 18) until March 12, and the footpath under the bridge will be closed from February 1 until March 12.
Frome Town Council posted the message on their Facebook page, and have also provided an alternative route.
They said the closure will be in place to "enable the repairs and improvements to happen safely and as efficiently as possible".
The council are asking people with queries about the works, to contact Network Rail directly.
Don't shoot the messenger, but Network Rail have let us know that they will be completing essential works to the Pilly...
