A SECTION of Station Road, Norton Fitzwarren, will be closed for up to 114 days from Monday (January 25).
The temporary closure of the 48-metre stretch is to allow Capstan Contractors to remove the old bridge and replace it with a new, longer spanned bridge.
The work is expected be completed by 18 May.
West Bagborough Road will be temporarily closed next week to allow Somerset Highways to carry out local drainage works.
The work is expected to take place between Monday and Friday (January 25 to 29).
And a stretch of Queen Street, Taunton, will be closed from Wednesday to Friday next week to allow Utility Services Ltd to carry out poling works on behalf of BT Openreach.
