ANOTHER nine people have lost their lives in Somerset to Covid-19 in the latest daily figures.
Somerset West and Taunton again recorded the most deaths with five people succumbing after contracting the virus.
There were two deaths in Sedgemoor and one each in South Somerset and Mendip.
The people who passed away from any cause had all tested positive for coronavirus in the past 28 days.
It means that 444 people in Somerset have died after contracting the virus since the start of the pandemic.
The total number of deaths in each district is 118 in South Somerset; 110 in Somerset West and Taunton; 106 in Sedgemoor; and 110 in Mendip.
