A CAR was driven more than 200 miles through Somerset s0 the driver could buy a pack of Doritos - despite the Covid lockdown restrictions.
The vehicle, which is registered in Milton Keynes and insured in London, made its way through our county and on into Devon, where it ended up in Plymouth.
It was stopped overnight in Plymouth, where the police took to social media to say: "Car stopped overnight registered to Milton Keynes & insured in London.
"Drivers account for being in the City for the last few days and cruising at midnight - Wanted to escape the restrictions of London and be by the ocean (...& to buy Doritos).
"Ticketed."
