FIRE crews tackled a chimney fire in Street on Wednesday (February 10).
The fire, on Anthony Road, was within the top of the chimney.
An aerial ladder platform from Yeovil fire station attended the incident to put out the fire from the roof.
Fire crews attended the fire at around 6pm and returned to the station by 11pm.
"Crews got to work with chimney rods, small tools and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire," said a spokesperson for Street Fire Station.
"One hotspot was still remaining so the aerial ladder platform from Yeovil fire station was mobilised to assist with attacking the fire from the roof and the heavy rescue tender from Glastonbury fire station for the use of its snake camera.
"The fire was extinguished using, small tools, chimney rods and hose, one hose reel jet, one thermal image camera and a snake camera."
