THERE was a chimney fire in Wellington yesterday afternoon (February 23).
A fire engine from Wellington attended the incident on Gillards Close in Rockwell Green at 4.15pm.
The fire was extinguished last night.
"One fire engine from Wellington was mobilised to this incident," said a spokesperson from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.
"Crews extinguished from the grate using chimney gear."
