FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire in a commercial garage this morning (Wednesday).

Crews were sent to the incident in Station Road, Dulverton, at 9.24am.

Fire engines attended from Dulverton, Bampton and Tiverton, along with the aerial ladder platform from Barnstaple.

The fire was located behind some cladding and crews were greeted by "a small amount of smoke issuing".

They got to work removing the cladding and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
