STOLEN: A mobile phone was taken from an 11-year-old boy in Easton
A MAN stole a mobile phone from an 11-year-old boy in Easton yesterday (March 3).
The boy was sat at a bus stop in Stapleton Road, close to the junction with Villiers Road, at around 8.15 to 8.40am.
The phone was snatched from his hand buy a man who then ran away in the direction of Easton Way.
A bystander chased after the man but had to back off when he was threatened.
"We’re keen to hear from the bystander who we hope may be able to assist with our enquiries, plus any other witnesses who may have seen what happened," an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said.
