SEVERAL properties across the Taunton and West Somerset areas have bene left without electricity this morning (Thursday).
One of the worst hit communities is Bicknoller, where 29 homes have been left without power since around 8.30am.
Western Power Distribution is working to restore power by midday.
Over in Monkton Heathfield, three homes which lost power shortly before 7am are expected to be back on again by about 2pm.
And 11 properties in Blagdon Hill, where outages were reported just after 6am, should
be back on by 12.30pm.
Around 10 homes in Wiveliscombe and the surrounding area lost power at around 7.30am and should be back on shortly.
A Western Power spokesperson said: "Our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing."
