HAS anyone noticed the increase in traffic around the town recently?
One spot I’ve noticed a lot of extra cars is at Junction 25, where they are carrying out improvement works.
This week, there seems to be a lot more traffic.
Perhaps it is due to the easing of the Covid lockdown, but if this is a sign of things to come, then we drivers are in for some long waits at the roundabout there.

And as we wait there, I have noticed on a number of occasions, people still using the ‘closed’ road (the road to the Toby Carvery) to cut ahead of those of us who dutifully wait in the traffic to get through.
These people must think they’re the only ones who would rather not get stuck in traffic.
I’m not sure if they ever face any consequences, but it seems unfair - and only adds to the frustration of waiting!
