POLICE were called to capture an escaped Emu in West Somerset yesterday (March 4).
Minehead and West Somerset Neighbourhood Policing managed to capture the Emu when it ran into a garden.
"Yesterday we had an interesting call of a sighting of an Emu running around in Carhampton," said a spokesperson for the policing team.
"The Emu was safely contained when it went into someone's garden and returned to the owner."
