WORK has started on creating a pop-up restaurant in the centre of Taunton.
Brazz on the Green will operate in the car park of the Castle Hotel, in Castle Green.
Wooden flooring has already been laid and a marquee is in the process of being put up.
It will operate from next Monday (April 12), when stage two of the roadmap to freedom comes into operation, allowing bars and restaurants to serve customers outdoors.
A social media post from Brazz says: "And so it starts! BRAZZ on The Green is now underway!
"Our Marquee is on its way up.
"Our first 2 weekends are almost completely fully booked, but we have space Tuesday - Thursday!"
Brazz on the Green will operate for five weeks, offering "classics and favourites" from the Brazz menu.
There will also be a bar with draft beer, wines and cocktails.
After next week, it will open Tuesday to Saturday until May 15, with lunch from noon to 2.30pm, afternoon tea 2.30pm to 5pm and dinner 5pm to 9pm, extended to 9.30pm on Friday and Saturday.
