A NORTON Fitzwarren company is starting up its daily coach service to London again on Monday, with the easing of Covid measures.

Berrys Coaches is preparing to launch its London Superfast service back on the roads as we enter the second stage of the roadmap out of lockdown.

During the past few months, the firm has continued to support the community and provided school transport for children of key workers. And now schools have fully reopened, Berrys have welcomed all students back on board, transporting them safely to and from school on a daily basis.

A Berrys spokesperson said: "With our Superfast service returning, our coaches will be serving all stops daily, from Tiverton to Wincanton, Bridgwater to Amesbury and many stops in between.

"We have been awarded the 'Good to Go' certificate from Visit England, which recognises the processes we’ve put in place to ensure we are Covid safe.

"Safety is paramount for both our customers and team members, so we have put in place Covid secure measurements, which include compulsory face coverings (unless medically exempt); hand sanitisers on every vehicle; temperature screening prior to boarding; enhanced cleaning with aerosol-based disinfectant fogging equipment; and retrofitted air conditioning and filters to help remove particles and virions from the air onboard our vehicles, creating a healthier environment onboard the coach.

"In the coming months, we are planning to relaunch our Day Tour brochure, with many exciting destinations planned for 2021."
