A CHARITY has organised a family event at a farm in Glastonbury.

Children’s World are running a May Day Festive Special at Paddington Farm on May 1.

The event, which has been funded by Glastonbury Town Council, will include performances and craft activities.

There will be puppetry from Noisy Oyster, with Dangerous Dave, as well as fun and games from Same Same but Different.

There will be a craft area, well as contact juggling from Amy Amelia, the Blue Butterfly.

Charity director, Kristen Lindop, said they are looking forward to the event.

“It’s great to get back out into the community,” she said.

“We ran a festive special, just before the winter lockdown, which proved very popular and we’re really pleased to produce another.

“Huge thanks to Glastonbury Town Council’s Youth Committee who have funded this event.

“It will provide much needed joy and in-person fun for local families.”
