And viewing prior to the sale is limited due to the dangerous state of what's left of the building following a fire.

The two-storey premises was been virtually destroyed in the fire and is in need of total redevelopment.

It has potential for a variety of uses subject to the necessary planning permission.

A spokesperson for Auction House Bristol and West, who are carrying out the sale, say it could possibly be split into at least two flats or even back to back houses, subject to the necessary consents.

Somerset County Gazette:

The property is situated down a narrow alleyway next to Westcoast Properties, on Alexandra Parade, and is close to a range of local shops, cafes and bars, as well as the sea front.

The spokesperson said: "This property is dangerous and viewing access will be restricted. Please view the virtual tour before requesting a viewing."

Somerset County Gazette:

A live stream auction of the property takes place on May 13 - to take part you must complete a registration form and return it together with two forms of ID.

You will then be able to bid from the luxury of your own home either over the internet, by phone or by proxy.
