TWO roads in a West Somerset village are to be closed from Monday during sewer repair work.
Wessex Water has announced that one street in Dunster will be closed for a fortnight, the other for a week.
The A396 West Street will be closed from Dunster Surgery to the junction with Park Street from Monday (April 26), re-opening on Friday (April 30).
Park Street is also being closed on Monday and will re-open on Friday, May 7.
Wessex Water has written to customers in the area, whose water and sewerage services will not be affected by the work.
A Wessex Water spokesperson said: “This is essential work to upgrade our sewer network and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by the closures, which are necessary for the safety of road users and our workforce.”
