ANTI-COVID vaccine stickers and chalk messages have been found in a Somerset town.
Mendip Neighbourhood policing have issued a warning to residents after a number of messages were found in Shepton Mallet.
"This is in the form of stickers being placed on the towns furniture, which may cause damage and need to be removed at a cost to the tax payer," said a spokesperson for Mendip Neighbourhood Policing.
"There are also a number of chalk messages which although not permanent are not authorised, are unsightly and still need to be removed at a cost.
"While we appreciate that there will be various views on any current issue, defacing our town is not an acceptable or appropriate way to express those views."
The team would like to speak to those involved. If you see anything suspicious, call 101.
