Steven Bisset was given a two-year restraining order
AN obsessed Taunton man bombarded a woman with gifts and transferred money to her bank account.
Taunton Magistrates' Court heard that Steven Arthur Bisset, 35, also rang her up "numerous times" and sent her "excessive" texts and messages.
Bisset, of Albemarle Road, initially denied harassment, but changed his plea to guilty before being sentenced.
He received a two-year restraining order banning him from contacting the woman, not to go to four named addresses.
He was hit with a £727 fine and ordered to pay £350 costs along with a £72 victim surcharge. The total he must pay is £1,149.
