CALLED OFF: The popular Taunton Independent Market, in Castle Green
THIS week's Taunton Independent Market has been postponed.
The event is the second to fall victim to poor weather forecasts for the weekend, after the eat:Festival planned for the County Town on Saturday was also called off.
A spokesperson for the market said: "Due to the high winds forecast for this weekend, we have postponed the Taunton Independent Market and it will now take place next Sunday (May 16) on Castle Green."
