A SMALL business in Taunton has won a support package worth more than £2,000 thanks to Albert Goodman.

Abbie & Rattie Design Ltd has been announced as the winner of Albert Goodman's business support package prize.

Samantha Trim, owner, will now be able to access a variety of business and marketing services.

“Small businesses have especially been hit hard during the pandemic and Albert Goodman has recognised the pressure they have been under – the high number of entries reflected this," said Mike Cahill, business services partner at Albert Goodman.

"We are absolutely thrilled to support a local business owner like Samantha who can now tap into all these useful services that will provide her with the platform she needs to grow her business.

“We wish her all the very best and look forward to staying in touch to hear how our support is helping her business to expand.”

The package includes social media training and 12-months aftercare service (by IntroTweet), a 12-month Xero subscription and graphic design work (by Design Bean).

In addition, Samantha will gain a full 12-month membership to the Somerset Chamber of Commerce.

"I was so excited to hear my business Abbie & Rattie Design had won the competition," said Samantha.

"As a small business owner, I wear many hats and struggle to find the time to manage everything efficiently.

"The range of prizes are going to be a huge help in the running and management of many of these tasks and will be so beneficial to my business and its growth.

"Thank you for this fantastic opportunity Albert Goodman.

“With a background in graphic design, and a passion for interiors, I merged the two to create a business four years ago.

"I design unframed art prints in a variety of styles, colours and sizes. I also offer foil prints and custom prints on request.”
