JEZ Pidgeon captured this video of a funnel cloud near Taunton yesterday (Sunday, May 16).
Jez was driving over the M5 near the county town when he spotted the reasonable sized funnel cloud coming down from the sky.
Funnel clouds are rotating circles of air not in contact with the ground.
A funnel cloud becomes a tornado when debris is picked up or blown around when the rotating column of air has reached the ground.
