A VEHICLE caught fire near Shepton Mallet last night (May 23).
A fire engine from Shepton Mallet attended the incident on Prestleigh Road in Evercreech at around 9.45pm.
The fire was involving a cooling fan within the vehicle.
"On arrival at the scene crew confirmed there had been a fire within the building at got to work to investigate," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.
"There was a fire involving cooling fan within vehicle.
"One hose reel was used to damped down and a thermal image camera to check for hot spots.
"There was five percent damage to the engine compartment."
