TWO Taunton businesses raised more than £500 for charity after cycling 1347km.

Cardstream and Snap Fitness cycled the distance from Lands End to John O'Groats using spin bikes.

They raised £530 for Mind in Somerset.

A spokesperson from Cardstream said they all felt "incredibly proud" of what they had achieved.

"We are over the moon to have raised £530 for Mind in Somerset and we want to say a huge thank you to those of you who donated.

"We would also like to give special thanks to Snap Fitness for partnering with us and loaning us one of their spin bikes to use for the event as well as coming in to help us reach our target.

"Again, a huge well done and thank you to every single person who took part, it was a fantastic week."

The three people who cycled the longest distance were:

  • Jack Mangnall, Cardstream's head of partner growth, cycled 183km
  • Rian Coggins, payments solutions specialist, cycled 90km
  • Lee Reilly, relationship manager, cycled 83km
