DEMO: An anti-lockdown protest took place in Glastonbury town centre today
HUNDREDS of protesters have turned out to protest against lockdown measures aimed at curbing the coronavirus.
A largely maskless crowd gathered in Glastonbury town centre today (June 12) to spread their message of "love over fear".
They heard from the likes of speakers Piers Corbyn and David Kurten.
Whoops and cheers were heard as one speaker lambasted the mandatory wearing of masks while shoppers passed by undeterred by the demonstration.
This comes as new figures confirm a rise in cases of the Delta variant of coronavirus in Somerset over the last week.
