Simon Lane, who tragically died in a road traffic collision
AN inquest into the death of a popular businessman in a road traffic collision near Wellington will be concluding next week.
Senior Somerset Coroner Tony Williams will conduct the hearing on Monday into the death of Simon Lane, 54, on the A38 near Whiteball on October 8 2019.
Married father-of-two Mr Lane, who died from multiple trauma, was a director along with his brother Graham of the former Taunton-based Bulldog Buckle Company.
He also served as business development manager of the On Your Bike charity, also based in the county town.
He later worked as a director of property company Stopwatch Developments Ltd and was the welfare officer at Fox's Hockey Club, in Wellington..
