WORK is progressing on a resurfacing scheme on a section of a major road between Minehead and Taunton.
The work is taking place on the A358 between Coggins Lane and Williton Road, at Combe Florey.
It is scheduled to last for ten working days.
Diversions are in place, although access to the Farmers Arms pub is open.
Travel Somerset has posted pictures on social media, saying: "The A358 Combe Florey works as of this morning.
"All planning activities are now complete and our team has started the laying of the new surface course today as per our programme."
