Person trapped in vehicle after A303 crash
FIRE crews helped free a person from the wreckage of a crash last night (June 16).
At just after 10.30pm, fire crews from Wincanton, Castle Cary, Sherborne and a heavy rescue unit from Yeovil were sent to the scene of a crash on the A303 between Sprakford and Podimore.
The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said the crash involved an HGV and a car, with a person still trapped in the car.
The spokesperson said the crews worked alongside other emergency services to free the person.
