TAUNTON has been transformed into a giant game this week - and there's still plenty of time to catch the fun.
The Beat the Street initiative is seeing people of all ages getting outside and active.
Among those taking part are a number of schools, including Holy Trinity Primary School, in Taunton.
The children there are among school pupils who have been presented with fobs with which to play the game.
The wider community can pick up a free contactless card from a distribution point to join in.
Players are in school or community teams of a minimum of six players.
Players then walk, run, scoot, wheel, or cycle between the 37 Beat Boxes around Taunton, which are spaced half a mile apart – tapping the fobs or cards as they go. The further players travel, the more points they score.
The game, which started on Wednesday, continues until July 14.
