Arrest after reports of man making threats while armed
POLICE made an arrest on Sunday (June 20) after reports of a man making threats while armed with a knife.
The incident unfolded after calls reporting the incident in the Cox Close area of Bruton at between 7pm and 8pm.
Yesterday (June 21), police said a 26-year-old man remained in custody and enquiries are ongoing.
"No-one was injured in the incident," a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said.
"Neighbourhood officers have stepped up patrols in the area and are keen to hear from witnesses."
