I’M writing to condemn the Highway Maintenance Team, who can’t seem to fill potholes correctly.
Two months ago, we hit an unavoidable pothole on a narrow street, which bent and punctured our wheel.
Our claim was rejected by the insurance department at the council, as it was miraculously filled in two days later and it was under their 30-day repair report.
We have now lost out on over £130 in costs to repair my car, when they don’t fill potholes properly, or even at all.

It seems this council is becoming incompetent in actually doing their jobs correctly.
Even the pothole in the middle of Hammet Street looks bodged and is already sinking again, but looks to have been passed as fixed.
It’s about time this Highway Maintenance and insurance team pulled their fingers out and actually did their job.
