A BOY was rushed to hospital suffering injuries following "an incident involving an aerosol" in a Taunton park.
An air ambulance was sent to the incident in Eastwick Park, also known as Priorswood Park, at 6.11pm yesterday (Tuesday, July 13) to reports of a person suffering burns.
After he was treated at the scene, he was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital by land ambulance.
A post on Taunton Neighbourhood Policing's Facebook page says: "It's not every day the team have to assist our colleagues from the air ambulance with crowd control.
"Our colleagues responded to a report of a young person suffering injuries after an incident involving an aerosol."

A spokesperson for Devon Air Ambulance said: "Our Exeter aircraft was tasked to Taunton at 6.11pm on Tuesday evening to assist a young male patient who had suffered burns.
"He was treated at the scene and conveyed to Musgrove Park Hospital by a land ambulance crew."
An Avon and Somerset Police told the County Gazette: "We were called to assist the ambulance service at Priorswood Park, Taunton, yesterday evening (Tuesday 13 July) at around 7.30pm, following a report that a young person had been injured in an incident involving an aerosol.
"Officers attended to disperse a crowd of onlookers that had gathered following the incident.
"The young person was taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries and the scene was cleared by 8pm."
