AN outdoor screening of the 1978 film classic Grease is being screened at The Bishop's Palace, Wells, in its sing-a-long version.

Wells Cinema Centre is inviting people get their vocal cords warmed up to join in with well-loved numbers such as Grease Lightning, Summer Lovin’ and or course You’re the One That I Want ahead of the event in Friday, September 3.

Good girl Sandy and greaser Danny fell in love over the summer. When they unexpectedly discover they’re now in the same high school, will they be able to rekindle their romance?

Enjoy the chance to watch the perennial favourite while seated on the famous Palace Croquet Lawn.

Tickets are £20 for adults and £18 for children and include a hog roast provided by the Film Centre (or vegetarian/vegan option) and a drink.

Take along your own blanket or low-backed seating and an umbrella, as the show will go on whatever the weather.
