LAND which could see 150 homes built in a village near Taunton is up for sale.
Development land and planning experts Greenslade Taylor Hunt (GTH) are marketing a 'significant plot of land' at Monkton Heathfield.
The 17.69-acre site, off Yallands Hill and Greenway, has been allocated for housing and could provide up to 150 new homes.
“The land appears to present an excellent opportunity for development," said Mark Chugg, partner with GTH.
"(It) is located in a sustainable location within land allocated for housing development.”
The land being offered for sale is split into two parcels – one for the housing development and the remainder for ecological mitigation.
It is bound by existing housing to the east and south and countryside to the north and west.
Interested parties have until noon on Friday, August 20, to submit offers for the site.
