A SUMMER festival day is taking place tomorrow thanks to Taunton Pride.

Visitors to Taunton can enjoy events from midday on Saturday (July 17).

The festival will take place in Goodland Gardens from noon until 5pm, Mambo from noon until 6pm and then 6pm until 11pm, CICCIC from 1pm until 9pm and the Brewhouse theatre from noon until 5pm.

There will be live streaming events, a well-being area (co-ordinated by The Sangha House), a literary area (co-ordinated by The Jemima Layzell Trust), dance and outdoor art pop-ups, a children's area, an artist's quarter offering free creative workshops, awareness and support stalls, an artisan food market, bars, and cultural pop-ups.

The event is free, and part of Taunton Live 2021.

Taunton Pride, in collaboration with Taunton Live Arts Festival, is presenting a summer festival throughout June, July and August.

This event includes the Follow Your Heart Trail, LoveWINdowS, yarnbombing, exhibitions, outdoor arts and installations, the rainbow pathway and hand painted flags.
