COMEDY legend and Somerset cricket fan, John Cleese, has revealed he will be making an appearance in his home county.
Posting on his Twitter account yesterday, he said: "A message for all my Somerset County Cricket Twits!
"On Sunday, September 26 I shall be in Taunton, doing a fundraiser for my beloved Somerset.
"It'll be a two hour show at the Brewhouse in the early afternoon.
"Details by the end of the week, when I shall give a link."
Born in Weston-super-Mare, the actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer, is a lifelong supporter of the county's cricket team.
He is most famous for his role in cult classic Monty Python and much-loved sitcom Fawlty Towers.
Cleese fans will now wait in anticipation for the full details of his Brewhouse event.
