WHO lives in a house like this?

The answer is no one for the past 80 years.

The cottage in a hamlet on Exmoor that hasn't been lived in for 80 years is up for sale.

The tucked away stone and cob home in Exton, near Dulverton, was last occupied in around 1940 and is believed to have once served as a cobbler's cottage.

The Old Cottage is currently used as a garage and store and features a separate garden and parking in a quiet location.

The property is expected to fetch in the region of £100,000 when it is sold by informal tender, with the closing date this Friday (July 23).

The agents, Seddons, based in Bampton, are marketing it as a potential restoration project that could result in it becoming a "charming two-bedroom cottage".
