CHARTERED accountancy firm Milsted Langdon is about to undertake a major refurbishment of its Taunton office.

The firm’s largest office, in Winchester House, on Deane Gate Avenue, Blackbrook Business Park, is undergoing significant building work.

The project includes reshaping the internal structure to create a more modern work environment that allows for future growth.

There will also be a spacious coffee-shop style lounge area for staff and improved client suite.

Chairman Tim Close said the revamp is part of the firm’s ongoing plans for expansion and innovation in the region and reflects Milsted Langdon’s future ambitions in Taunton.

He added: “We’re very excited about this project that will see significant improvements for our staff.

“It does mean that the office will have to close whilst building work is carried out, but as we’ve seen over the past 18 months, the pandemic has illustrated how we can be flexible and work remotely with no impact to client service.

“Our designers have worked closely with an internal project team to get a feel for our brand and an understanding of the way we, as a firm, want to work going forward, and the new office will reflect a modern and flexible approach with innovative workplace solutions to help our people thrive”.

The large-scale project will see the office close from today (July 26) until October to allow building work to be carried out safely.

While the work should have no discernible impact on the services offered to clients, Milsted Langdon has asked businesses to contact the firm if they have any queries by visiting www.milstedlangdon.co.uk
