HEROICS from Taunton-educated Maddie Hinch saw Team GB's women's hockey team make the semi-finals in dramatic fashion.
The former King's College student saved all four of Spain's penalties in a dramatic shootout in Tokyo this afternoon.
The win sets Great Britain up for a rematch of the Olympic final in Rio against the Netherlands - who they beat in Rio to secure a gold medal.
Twice the Spanish came from behind to draw 2-2 in normal time before Maddie was the hero in the shootout once again, saving all four, while Hannah Martin and Sarah Jones scored the crucial goals for GB.
