CREWS from Somerset attended a barn fire in Devon during the early hours of this morning (August 6).
Fire engines from Bridgwater, Wellington, Cullompton and Tiverton headed to the incident in Westleigh around 3am.
The fire was out by 7.30am.
"Upon arrival, crews confirmed the barn to be fully alight with straw and hay stored within," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
"Crews were using a ground monitor as well as a defensive approach for this incident.
"The fire was out by 7.30am and crews have now left the scene with further visits due to be carried out today to check for hotspots."
